Chelsea December fixtures have been reshuffled after the Premier League confirmed its broadcast selections and amendments for the first three weeks of December on Monday.
The changes follow the earlier release of the festive-period amendments. All kick-off times below are UK time.
Chelsea December fixtures in full
- Crystal Palace (h) – now Wednesday 2 December, 7.30pm, live on Sky Sports
- Liverpool (h) – now Saturday 5 December, 12.30pm, live on TNT Sports
- Man City (a) – now Saturday 12 December, 5.30pm, live on Sky Sports
- Aston Villa (h) – now Monday 21 December, 8pm, live on Sky Sports*
*The Premier League notes the Villa game will move to 8pm on Saturday 19 December instead, dependent upon EFL Cup participation.
What the changes mean for Chelsea
Two home games among the Chelsea December fixtures now carry television slots. Liverpool’s visit takes TNT’s Saturday lunchtime slot on 5 December, so fans get a 12.30pm start. Aston Villa then close out the pre-Christmas run at 8pm on Monday 21 December, schedule permitting.
The trip to the Etihad is the other change among the Chelsea December fixtures. Sky shows it on Saturday 12 December at 5.30pm, so travelling fans should check train and coach times before they book. The early kick-off against Liverpool and the evening kick-off at City make for two very different matchdays within a week.
