Why Chelsea moved

When Roman Abramovich bought the club in 2003, the training facilities were seen as a priority for investment. The Harlington ground was owned by Imperial College and was regarded as dated next to Manchester United and Arsenal.

What is on site

The centre has an indoor artificial pitch, a media centre, gyms, cold immersion pools and a sauna, along with medical and rehabilitation technology. It works like a campus, with the first team, academy and women’s team all based there.
